Story Alchemy - Where your story meets the page

Everyone has a story to tell. Or should I say, many stories to explore. If you’re anything like us, it may feel hard to share them when we haven’t gone into an in-depth exploration — or an excavation — of our experience, in order to craft a compelling narrative, one that becomes natural to offer, or share with others.
Whether you are interested in personal exploration, memoir or essay writing, public speaking, or just generally, getting to understand yourself better, join us. Whether your stories feel tangled, half-formed, or messy, Story Alchemy is your hour to work with the raw material of your experience, dig for gold — with curiosity and compassion. This is a space where scattered memories are welcome, confusion is the norm, and gentle discovery is our only goal. This event is a weekly 60 minutes online gathering.
OUR TIME WILL FLOW AS FOLLOWS
- Welcome and settling in
- Guided meditation to centre and focus our attention
- Weekly writing prompt for exploration
- Dedicated writing time (cameras optional) - 30 minutes
- Optional sharing and gentle witness - 15 minutes
ABOUT YOUR GUIDE
Anne V Mühlethaler is a certified mindfulness meditation teacher (MMTCP), certified coach, and former global communications executive with Christian Louboutin. Having spent years helping leaders and brands craft compelling narratives — from luxury brands to personal transformations — she brings warmth, wisdom, and a deep understanding that our most powerful stories often emerge not from perfection, but from authentic presence with our lived experience. Her journey from boardrooms to meditation cushions reminds us that every story is worth telling, one word at a time.

Metta Together: Your Midday Heart Break
Perfectly Imperfect Hearts Welcome
Join us for a Heart Break—yes, you read that right. Instead of the heartbreak that leaves us shattered, this is the heart break that helps us pause, breathe, and piece ourselves back together with compassion.
Metta, or loving kindness meditation, is a practice of cultivating warmth and care—starting with ourselves and gradually extending it outward to others. Think of it as strengthening your heart's capacity to hold yourself and others with compassion. But here's the thing: it can feel awkward sending love to someone who annoys you, or even harder, offering kindness to yourself. Metta Together isn't about forcing warm feelings, but about gently exploring what kindness might look like in this very moment. A 30-minute lunchtime practice where resistance is normal, self-judgment gets a compassionate nod, and we discover that love doesn't have to be perfect to be real.
WHAT WE'LL PRACTICE TOGETHER
- The basics of loving kindness meditation—simple phrases, genuine intention
- How to work with the "yeah, right" voice when self-compassion feels impossible
- Heart resonance — discovering how kindness ripples through from our hearts to those we practice with
- Practical ways to meet difficulty with gentleness instead of judgment

Mindful Together - Your weekly permission to pause
Not Always Calm, But Always Welcome
Let's be real—sometimes when we try to pause, our minds feel like a tornado of thoughts, worries, and endless to-do lists. Mindful Together is not about achieving perfect peace, but about meeting yourself exactly where you are. A 30-minute practice where scattered thoughts are welcome, restlessness is understood, and gentleness is our only goal.
WHAT WE'LL EXPLORE
- Meditation that doesn't demand perfection
- Practical tools for working with whatever arises
- A compassionate community that embraces our beautifully messy human experience
- Guidance that meets you exactly where you are—no zen required
OUR ROOTS
Drawing from the teachings of Jack Kornfield, Sharon Salzberg and Tara Brach, we practice Metta or Loving Kindness not as a bypass for difficult feelings, but as a courageous way to hold all of our experience with care. We explore how this practice of wishing ourselves and others well is far from selfish—it's the foundation for genuine connection with others. Secular, spiritual, honest, and rooted in the understanding that love isn't always easy but accessible through this practice.
COME AS YOU ARE
- Zoom link will be waiting
- Find a comfortable spot—cushion, chair, or couch
- Bring your skepticism, your tender heart, your willingness to try
- All levels welcome, no prior meditation experience necessary
The Intention Hour - Monthly contemplative circle
The Challenge: Life moves fast. Projects pile up. Days blur together. We achieve things, our to-do list may say otherwise. We often wonder if we're even advancing toward anything that truly matters. Are we moving the needle? And if so, is it even the 'right' needle?
This monthly gathering offers a deliberate online space to connect with the deeper currents of intention beneath our daily actions. Is there a project you are developing, one that you'd love to deliver with both heart and impact? Is there a conversation that you're dreading but that is important to have? Is there a way you are not showing up in your life and you'd like to find a methodology to help you connect to your deep intention? This practice offers a framework for excavating what truly matters—moving beyond surface goals to uncover the authentic intentions that can guide your choices, becoming a compass of the heart.
What We'll Explore: Drawing from a contemplative framework that bridges personal reflection and strategic clarity, this monthly session invites you to inquire into something that you want to achieve, as well as why it matters and who you're becoming in the process. Whether you're launching a project, navigating a transition, or simply wanting to live and work more intentionally, this practice offers both inner compass and outer direction. It’s simple, juicy, practical — and no one can tap into this better than you can. Because after all, it’s your intention that will guide you.
Our Monthly Flow (60 minutes):
- 5 minutes: Welcome and settling in
- 5 minutes: Brief reflection on living with intention
- 10 minutes: Guided meditation to centre and clarify
- 30 minutes: Contemplative journaling with guided prompts
- 10 minutes: Group sharing and integration (plus check-in from previous month's intention)
The Framework:
This isn't goal-setting — think of it as intention archaeology. We'll dive together, dig through our multiple levels of intention, from the practical to the profound.
Inspired by Buddhist wisdom, this group practice invites us to bring our attention to intention. As Tara Brach offers: "The more your intention is deep and awake, for example for kindness or presence, the more your attention is actually full.”
It works in the reverse just as well: the more we are awake to our deep intention, the more we are in touch with what matters.
Investment: 25 CHF | 35 CHF | 45 CHF Choose what feels sustainable and allows you to show up fully
When: Last week of each month (setting intentions before the new month begins)
About Your Guide: Anne developed this framework while supporting a corporate client through a major anniversary planning process, discovering that the most meaningful projects emerge when we examine not just outcomes, but the deeper intentions beneath them. Having guided both executives and entrepreneurs through strategic visioning, she brings practical wisdom to the contemplative work of intentional living. She continues to use this powerful methodology on her own projects. Live it to give it as they say.
