When mindfulness (or rather Buddhist chanting) meets an experimental theatre company in Hong Kong, the result is the Hua-yen Buddhaverse. The immersive art piece serves as a highly experiential guided meditation for its audience and is beautifully presented via a three minute video produced by Nowness. It left me wanting to simultaneously go to the theatre, go back to visit Hong Kong, and perhaps learn to sing (or breathe) these sutras. Quite wonderful.
