The most transformative moments happen in circles. Discover our social learning studio where coaches, creators and dreamers gather to explore what matters most.
Here's something I'd like to share with you.
The most transformative moments in my life have happened in circles—when someone else's question or feedback opened my metaphorical eyes. Or rather, the virtual Zoom-squares equivalent of a circle. And instead of a talking stick, there was the unmute button. But you get my gist.
There's something about the geometry of gathering: how we naturally soften when we sit in rounds, how hierarchy dissolves when everyone can see everyone else's eyes.
This is what we're building: a social learning studio and community of practice.
A place where we explore, get inspired, listen, and try something new.
Where coaches, creators, thinkers, and dreamers come together to explore what it means to be human, to make things, to do good work in these times. Where your expertise matters, but less than your curiosity, your capacity or desire for presence, and connection. Where we practise the radical act of listening together, learning from each other.
I landed on the words "social learning studio" to describe my vision for Le Trente because the best things I've learned in the last few years have come from peer groups—not just when a guide or expert or teacher spoke, but when someone else in theroom raised their voice, made a point, or asked a question I wasn't capable of asking myself. Or, rarer and so precious, when someone embodied their values.
I'm thinking of a particular artist whose very presence teaches, and of the wonderful mentor who guided me through my mindfulness training. When someone embodies kindness, connection, presence, and compassion that deeply, it changes you.
The coach Tara Mohr likes to ask: "What is the 1000-year-old version of your calling?" The words that came to me were: 'un cercle de parole'.
When I heard my own answer, delicately landing in my own mind, I was walking my dog for his evening bio break while listening in on her coaching call. The words felt like an evidence, so much so that they brought tears to my eyes.
A circle.
A gathering.
And here we are, starting something new.
