Wintering and what's ahead
- Jan 05, 2026

Welcome to 2026. I don't know whether you were a fan of the 2025 vintage, personally I was happy to close that twelve-month chapter.

Welcome to 2026. I don't know whether you were a fan of the 2025 vintage, personally I was happy to close that twelve-month chapter.

After ten days of heavy gray clouds, and as if wanting to prove a point, the sun is gleefully shining its rays outside my window, making it a tad easier to get into a new flow, despite near-arctic temperatures.

The mood in my office is chilly meets contemplative mix. Yesterday morning, I spent a couple of hours meditating with Tibetan Buddhist monks at a local monastery - part of a friend's birthday celebration. This felt very aligned.

Despite a seemingly endless to-do list, I’ve spent more time doing yoga and meditation than anything else (apart from cooking maybe?).

Perhaps it's my response to this natural process of curling onto ourselves. Wintering. A new year means an opportunity to reflect, to gather ourselves, before setting our sights on the year ahead. But before I can do that, I personally like to close my eyes and reconnect with myself.

I'm forever surprised by what happens when we allow ourselves rest - how we can emerge more creative, more present, more aligned. If we embrace the process that is.

This is a time full of contradictions for me. It's in winter that I do my best work. And daily, there's a balance to be found between resting and producing (words, podcasts, guided meditations, programs, business plans…).

How has it been for you? How are you moving into the new year?

This brings me to Le Trente - and what's ahead.

If you're newer here, Le Trente is part social club, part contemplative space, with learning at its heart. Among our upcoming offerings you'll find workshops, masterclasses, guided meditations, intimate salons, and podcasts - all rooted in the belief that we learn best from each other, not just from experts at the front of the room.

As we step into 2026, here's some of what’s awaiting you:

You know you have something valuable to offer. But when it comes to expressing it - to a potential employer, a new connection, a room full of strangers - something doesn't land.

Maybe you're proud of the multiple identities you hold, but you can't quite put them together in a way that makes sense to others. Maybe you've pivoted careers and the old story doesn't fit anymore. Maybe you hold back in certain contexts, worried that showing all of who you are might upset the balance.

The result is the same: you're unable to connect at the level you want to. Something always feels like it's missing.

You're not alone. Many of us carry this quiet dissonance — a sense that there's meaning in our journey, a thread running through it, but we can't quite articulate it. I've been there. More than once.

Here's the insight at the heart of this work: when we find it difficult to express something about who we are, it's usually because there's something incoherent in the story we're telling ourselves. There are things we don't realise matter to us. Gaps we haven't looked at. It's generally when we're confronted with a problem out in the world that we realise there's inner work to do.

This two-hour session is an invitation to discover stories that help speak to what matters most to you. To express something important. A new vehicle to connect. I'm offering it online for the first time. If you can’t make it, that’s okay, the next instalment will take place February 11th. Find out more and book your spot here.

Jump in for an illuminating conversation about reproductive health, entrepreneurship and the power of becoming your own health advocate. We have a special discount for listeners if you want to try the Fertility Class (it’s both for women AND men btw, and not just good for fertility but overall hormonal health). Check the show notes for the link. Listen on Apple Podcasts and Spotify or wherever you listen to your podcasts.

Wishing you a wonderful start of the week, and the year.

Until next time, much love,
