AVM

A space for reflection, sense-making, and orientation.

Inner work, for me, begins with attention.

For many years, I’ve worked with contemplative practices — though the word contemplation didn’t enter my vocabulary until a moment I still remember vividly. During my yoga teacher training, after an intense physical practice, our instructor guided us into a long savasana. We hovered in that liminal state between sleep and wakefulness. Then, slowly, we were invited to sit, eyes downcast, and hold a single question in meditation:

What is an obstacle I am putting in my own way?

There was no rush to answer. No analysis. Just attention.

After a few minutes, we opened our eyes and began to write. I remember being struck by how much emerged — not because I was searching for answers, but because I had allowed the question to work on me. That moment revealed something essential: a single, well-held question can be catalytic. It can open space. It can guide us forward.

This experience marked the beginning of a long relationship with powerful questions, guided reflection, meditation, and coaching.

Today, as a story coach working at the intersection of the stories we tell ourselves and the way we express our value(s) in the world, I create contemplative practices designed to help you explore your inner landscape, gently, honestly, and at your own pace.

This is not about fixing yourself or finding quick answers. It’s about creating the conditions for clarity to emerge.

The guided reflections you’ll find here are invitations into that space. A soft, personal form of coaching — and a place to begin.

Your Story, Your Map

Your Story, Your Map is where many people begin.

A guided reflection for moments of transition, when you feel a little lost and you realise you need to pause, look back (and around), to orient yourself before moving forward.

This is for when:
Life feels busy but strangely empty.
Forward motion feels premature. You want to move but unsure toward what.Y
Your goals feels so unattainable and you want to chart a course that's right for you.

And if you're feeling unmoored not just by your own life, but by everything happening in the world right now — this works for that too. Connecting to what matters is always an anchor.

You'll receive a PDF guide, an editable workbook, and an audio reflection. I recommend starting with the audio — listening first, letting the questions do what they do, then taking pen to paper for the work.

It's $5, by design. Instead of offering this for free, I chose to make this feel like a small commitment, not another freebie that will stay untouched somewhere on your computer.

Now a lot of things conspired to have me get to creating this guide. Curious?
